DOI:10.1088/0953-4075/34/22/314 The effective collision strengths in the above table are from a 83-term, 180-level Intermediate-Coupling Frame-Transformation (ICFT) R-matrix calculation that included all levels of the configurations 2s22p, 2s2p2, 2p3, 2s23s, 2s23p, 2s23d, 2s2p3s, 2s2p3p, 2s2p3d, 2s24s, 2s24p, 2s24d, 2s24f, 2p23s, 2p23p, 2p23d, 2s2p4s, 2s2p4p, and 2s2p4d. The CI expansion also included 2p24s, 2p24p, 2p24d, 2p25s, 2p25p, 2p25d, 2s2p5s, 2s2p5p, and 2s2p5d where 5s, 5p, and 5d are pseudo states. The 1s, 2s, and 2p orbitals were determined from a Hartree-Fock (HF) calculation on 2s22p 2P. The 3s, 3p, 3d, 4s, 4p, and 4f orbitals were determined from HF calculations on the configurations 2s2nl. The 5p pseudo orbital were determined from a multi-configuration Hartree-Fock (MCHF) on (2p3+2p23p+2p24p+2p25p)2P. The 5s and 5d pseudo orbitals were determined from a MCHF calculation on (2s2p2+2p23s+2p23d+2p24s+2p24d+2p25s+2p25d) 2P. In STG3 of the R-Matrix calculation, the term energies were adjusted to the experimental values and in the ICFT calculation the level energies were adjusted to the experimental values. For the JPI partial waves from J=0 to 12 and even and odd parity, we performed an LS R-matrix calculation with exchange for all LSPI partial waves from L=0 to L=14 and then transformed the unphysical K-matrices to intermediate coupling using the ICFT method. For the JPI partial waves from J=13 to 40, we performed a no-exchange R-matrix calculation for all LSPI partial waves from L=11 to 42 and then transformed the unphysical K-matrices to intermediate coupling. These partial waves were then topped up. The size of the continuum basis was 25 and the size of the R-matrix "box" was 11.5 au. The radiative rates were determined from a Breit-Pauli CI calculation that used all 28 configuration listed above. In the resonance region of the calculation, we used an energy mesh of 9.89e-04 Ry; above all thresholds, an energy-mesh spacing of 1.33e-01 Ry up to a total energy of 24 Ry was employed. The numbers in the last column of the above table are the theoretical values for the reduced effective collision strengths in the infinite temperature limit as defined in Burgess and Tully Astron.
